The Lanark County 4-H Association allows youth in Lanark County to participate in activities both locally, regionally, provincially and internationally. Thanks to the dedication of many volunteers, kids in the area are able to acquire the skills and participate in the opportunities that 4-H can provide.

Cloverbud Program
Cloverbuds Cloverbuds is a yearlong program for youth ages 6-8 to introduce them to all of the fun that 4-H Ontario has to offer. It uses the same hands-on learning style of traditional 4-H but adapts it in a way that is fun and engaging for younger kids. The best part of Cloverbuds is making friends and learning new skills together. Cloverbuds usually meet once or twice a month and participate in a wide range of activities to build confidence, skills and knowledge. Kids must be 6 by Jan. 1st, 2022. To 8 years old. https://4-hontario.ca/youth/cloverbuds/ Meetings would be mostly Thursday nights, monthly for the year. With the odd weekend or off night event. $95 fee for the year. NEW CLUB This Club is for our younger members! The topics will vary from Livestock, Gardening, Crafting, Outdoors, sports etc. the following are tentative dates, possibly topics may change, and dates may be added or subtracted, depending on whats going on. April 14th {intro meeting), May 5th {Poultry}, June 30th {Gardening}, July 21 {small animal}, August 11th {Dairy/Milk}, September 8th {topic TBD}, October 27th {Halloween, Pumpkins}, November 10th { Canadian Holidays} , December 15th {Christmas Baking/Craft, end of year awards} 6:30 to 8:30pm Meeting Locations will change and some may be on the outskirts of Lanark County, or skip into another County as well. any questions, feel free to ask!
Poultry Project
NEW CLUB!! New Club Posting!! Poultry Club These Meetings will be outside at local farms, right now I do not have all the locations finalized, but the dates are as follows. April 7th, May 5th, June 2nd, July 7th, August 4th, September 1st, and Achievement September 24th, 2022 at the Macdonalds Corners Fair. Members can be 9 to 21, as of Jan. 1st. You do not need chickens, but its easier if you do for the hands on, and show. We welcome experienced or inexperienced kids. Animal Friends Project
Small Animal Club This Club will be about feeding, raising small pets, handling ,and we will turn to focus on Agility further on into the Summer. Some meetings will double up with other clubs.
