(Posted April 6, 2017)
ROCKWOOD, ON (April 6, 2017) – 4-H Ontario is proud to honour the contributions of longtime volunteers at this year’s Monsanto Volunteer Recognition Luncheon.
The Monsanto Volunteer Recognition Program celebrates 4-H Ontario volunteers’ years of service. Each 4-H Ontario volunteer receives a certificate of appreciation and pin for their first year of volunteering. Further recognition is given at five-year increments. Special congratulations start at 20 years of service, and for every five-year increment thereafter.
Volunteers recognized for service over 20 years were honoured at a formal luncheon at the 4-H Ontario Conference & Annual Meeting on Saturday, March 25, 2017.
Among the many being recognized this year were 45-year volunteers Deborah Brown (Grenville), Barbara McKenna (Hamilton-Wentworth) and Laura Thorkildsen (Hamilton-Wentworth).
The Monsanto Volunteer Recognition Program is sponsored by Monsanto Canada Inc.
