GUELPH, ONT. (Nov. 28, 2024) – On Friday, November 22, Christine Oldfield and Evelyn Chambers of 4-H Ontario received King Charles III Coronation Medals from the Honourable Rob Black at the Senate of Canada. Christine, Executive Director and Evelyn, Director of Professional Practice were recognized for their dedication and contributions to agriculture, community service and youth development.
“The King Charles III Coronation Medal has been awarded to exceptional Canadians that have distinguished themselves by dedicating their time and efforts to enhancing the lives of those around them,” said the Honourable Rob Black, Senator for Ontario. “Through the hard work and actions of Evelyn Chambers and Christine Oldfield, they have brought honour to our nation, and this medal is recognition for their actions.”
The Coronation Medal commemorates the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III. Recipients are recognized for their significant contributions to Canada and their achievements that bring credit to the country.

Their dedication to the 4-H program embodies the value of service to community, a hallmark of the success of the 4-H program across the province and beyond,” said Erica Murray, President, Ontario 4-H Council.
