Do I Have to Live on a Farm or Own Animals to Participate in 4-H?

No! You do not need to live on a farm or own animals to participate in 4-H. Many 4-H Participants take part in livestock clubs such as Beef, Goat, Dairy, Llama and Sheep without owning animals themselves. There are many creative ways to get involved, and 4-H Ontario encourages youth to connect with their local club leaders to explore options and arrange participation in the club achievement.
