What Is The Difference Between 4-H Project And Club?
A 4-H club is a group made up of at least six eligible youth and two screened 4-H Ontario volunteers in good standing (as per Policy O-V-14). Clubs provide a structure for youth to participate in 4-H programming and activities.
A 4-H project is a specific topic or area of focus that a club chooses to explore together. Some clubs may focus on a single project throughout the year (e.g., Dairy), while others, such as a Life Skills club, may complete multiple projects in one year (e.g., Cooking, Sewing, and On Your Own). The number and type of projects completed is at the discretion of the club’s volunteers.
