Clearview Beef Club

Achievement Day was Saturday September 25th at the Collingwood Fair Grounds. This club has completed for the 2021 season. This club will be offered next year in early spring 2022.

This project is open to anyone interested in learning about beef, even if you don’t own beef cattle. Members will learn about several beef breeds and their health, anatomy, behaviour, breeding, nutrition, handling, judging and more.

In this project, you’ll learn:

The history of the beef industry

How to safely work with and handle cattle

Tips on marketing and financial success

How to be an advocate of a healthy beef industry


Collingwood Fair Grounds

Age Range:9-21 years of age as of December 31, 2020. Members will need to have paid their membership fee, complete all required forms, participate in a minimum of 2/3 hours of meeting time, participate in the County Judging Competition, participate in the club Achievement day program( usually at the GNE) and attend 2 other cattle shows. You will need technology and internet connection. Meetings will start online and move to in person once able to do this safely. This club will start in early spring and meet one or two times per month. We may rotate based on the members schedule.
