We will learn how to read and understand judging standards. We will judge livestock, poultry, crops, baked goods and other items. We will learn how to create and give reasons for our placements. We will discuss cuts and how cuts are created for the class. All members will participate in an achievement day judging competition.
First meeting: April 12th carrots and apples
Second meeting: May 17th dairy cattle, hay and apples
Third meeting: June 7th flowers, saddles, lunches, chocolate
Fourth meeting: July 9th-17th virtual region 3 & 4
