This club is a collaboration between Creemore Farmer’s Market and 4-H. Members will be the ambassadors of the market assisting and learning from vendors about what is involved in bringing a product to market and in sharing market information with other 4-H clubs to support the future of both the market and 4-H members’ endeavors. Members will learn the importance of a farmer’s market, how to prepare products for sale including marketing skills, selection of wares to bring, displaying items, handling money as well as being of service to the community by helping and learning from vendors at the market, assisting with special market events and in promoting the Creemore Market, FCC and 4-H. Although we will be starting the club virtually, it is our hope to be moving towards in person meetings at the Creemore Farmers Market. Ultimately , our Achievement Day should be held at the Market where the club will run a booth. Due to the restrictions in place for the market as an essential service, members will focus on projects that are agricultural based for their Achievement Day. More information to come for 2022 season.
