Learn about gardening from the starting of seeds to harvest with lots of fun in-between! You don’t need a lot of space to have a backyard garden. We will talk about the basics and learn from people who grow plants for a living. We will complete fun crafts and projects using the things you grow with a focus on exhibiting at a local fall fair.

Age Range:9-21 years of age as of December 31, 2021. Members will need to have paid their membership fee, complete all required forms, participate in a minimum of 2/3 hours of meeting time, participate in the County Judging Competition and participate in the club Achievement day program. You will need technology and internet connection. This club will meet once a month starting online on a Wednesday and move to in person once able to do this safely. No previous experience required. Members will need a place to grow plants whether a garden plot or pots filled with the appropriate soil. Seeds, clear containers for seed starting, water and any garden implements you'll find helpful. Indoor and out door plants and access to garden tools such as a trowel, spade, clippers and weeder.
