4-H member with her polish pullet

This club learned about poultry and waterfowl from egg to table and from egg to show. We learned about the many breeds of commercial and heritage poultry, how to care for them, best breeding practices and how to recognize the best features of these birds based on the Standard of Perfection. We also learned how to prepare our bird for a show and keep them happy and healthy!
