This club will help you learn about poultry and waterfowl from egg to table and from egg to show. You will learn about the many breeds of commercial and heritage poultry, how to care for them, best breeding practices and how to recognize the best features of these birds based on the Standard of Perfection. You will also learn how to prepare your bird for a show and keep them happy and healthy! Club starts Monday April 26, 2021 on line via Zoom. Age Range:9-21 years old as of December 31, 2020. Members need to have paid their membership fees, completed all required forms, participate in a minimum of 2/3 hours of meeting time, participate in the county judging competition and participate in the club achievement day program. Members will need technology and internet connection. This club will start with online meetings and move to in person once available to do this safely. We plan to meet on the 4th Monday of the month at 7pm starting April 26th. No materials or previous knowledge required.
