The Field Crops: Species & Management Project will provide you with general knowledge on crop management and introduce you to scientific, technological and environmental factors that can influence crop production.

In this project, you’ll learn:

  • The basics of Ontario field crop species and production techniques
  • How to identify plants and seeds of the commonly grown crops in Ontario
  • How to market field crops
  • Problem-solving, judging, communication and leaderships skills
