Creating a big, beautiful quilt may seem intimidating, but we’ll start with the basics and give you the skills you need to eventually make whatever quilted piece your mind can dream up!

Whether you create something practical like a blanket, or fun like a decorative pillow, the Quilting Project will educate and inspire.

In this project, you’ll:

  • Learn about the traditions, patterns and techniques of quilting
  • Research the three different types of quilts and what they look like
  • Gain an understanding of the history of quilting in Canada and beyond
  • Create a beautiful quilt of your own
