4-H Ontario COVID-19 update – June 11, 2020

4-H Ontario, 4-H Ontario | (Posted June 11, 2020)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM 4-H ONTARIO REGARDING COVID-19

The suspension of all in-person 4-H activities will continue for 4-H staff, youth participants and volunteers until further notice.

This week the Province of Ontario announced that several regions will be moving to Phase 2 of the reopening plan. They also announced that public gatherings outside of the immediate household with the expectation of continued social distancing may be increased to 10 people.

4-H Ontario is monitoring the current situation and working with 4-H Canada to establish a reopening framework that will include public health best practices and social distancing requirements for the health and safety of our youth, volunteers and staff. 4-H Ontario will be reaching out to volunteers and various stakeholders as guidelines are developed for the safest possible 4-H experience.

Please check back for further updates.
