Adventures In Leadership (Virtual YAC) 2021 – Join In With Us
For youth ages 12-15 (as of December 31, 2020)
The Week of August 9th! Adventures are coming your way!
You’re invited on a 4-H adventure! Make new friends and have some fun with 4-H Ontario during Adventures In Leadership week!
Check out the details below and let us know when you’ll be joining us!
For these experiences, you can register below, selecting the sessions you want to come to. An email will be sent to you after you register with the Zoom call in details and, if applicable, any supplies you might need for the activities. When you participate you will be entered into a draw for some 4-H gear! There will be a winner drawn from each session’s participants! Please note: registrations must be received by 10am the day of the event to ensure that call in details can be provided.
Tuesday August 10 at 2:00pm – Craft Creations
Embrace your creative side! Join us to create your very own nature inspired tic-tac-toe game! When you register for this experience, you will be emailed the zoom call in details and a copy of the supplies needed so you can follow along!
Wednesday August 11 at 7pm – Games Night
Join 4-H Ontario and friends from across the province for an hour of virtual games! One of the best parts of Youth Adventure Camp is the opportunity to have some fun and play games – and we’re going to do them digitally! From Code Names to One Word to Kahoot! you’ll be able to play right along!
Thursday August 12 at 2:30pm – Virtual Zoo Tour
Join 4-H Ontario and the Toronto Zoo for a virtual tour of their African Savannah exhibit. We could see African Lions, Cheetahs, Grevy’s Zebras, Masai giraffe, Olive Baboons, River Hippos or White Rhinoceros! What adventures will we find today?
Thursday August 12 at 7:00pm – “Campfire” and Games
Bring some s’mores (or your favourite snacks!) and get ready to build your own flashlight campfire while having some campfire songs and games!
Participate all week long in the Adventures In Leadership Scavenger Hunt! Adventures In Leadership Scavenger Hunt (103 downloads)
It’s time for some fun! For our Adventures in Leadership (Virtual YAC) 2021, try to find as many items in the 4-H Scavenger Hunt. Tag us on social media and use the hashtag #YAC2021 with your pictures for the opportunity to be featured on our social media platforms and entered to win some cool 4-H Ontario gear! Don’t have social media? Email your pictures to digitalprogram@4-hontario.ca and you’ll be entered in the draw for the 4-H Ontario gear!
