OUTDOOR LIVING – Camping – In Person
Do you like the outdoors? Have you ever slept out under the stars? Do you know how to build a campfire?
Join us for a night of camping and learn how to set up a tent, start a fire, and cook food over an open fire.
Whatever your experience – this will be fun! Learn camping etiquette, safety around camping, what is needed to set camp for a night & more.
Leaders: Sarah Monahan Danielle Wood Nicole Marcy & their will be more leaders, including male leaders
*Members will be required to have some of their own camping gear, especially a sleeping bag and contribute towards food supplies
Meetings: to include couple of planning meetings, at least one that includes parents – to get the low down on the plan & member expectations! An overnight camping experience
Dates Meetings: Thursdays, 7 pm – 9 pm – May 1 & 22; Camping Date: Friday night June 6 to Saturday, June 7
Locations: – pre & wrap meetings at Bethel Stone United Church; Camping – TBD
Material Fee: TBD
Achievement: wrap meeting to include a culminating achievement – Thursday, June 26; 7 pm – 9 pm
Brant does have a one time border hopper of $20.00 for the calendar year
