SPICE OF LIFE      – In person

Think about the best meal you’ve ever had – it probably contained plenty of herbs and spices to complement the main ingredients. They can be subtle or overt, but these wonderful additions are often the unsung heroes.

Cooking is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to their benefits.

Increase your knowledge of the different herbs and spices available

Learn about their traditional and cultural origins

Learn how you can grow your own either indoors or outdoors

Make your own food, crafts and products using a variety of herbs and spices

Members will be required to grow 3 herbs of their choice (these could be grown from seed or purchase already started)

We will go a road trip to a Lavender Farm in July (Saturday or Sunday afternoon) when the lavender is at its peak!
