Get growing with the Bruce county 4-H Horticulture club! Located in central Bruce County, activities will be mostly in the Elmwood area, along with area site visits (i.e. Farmers Market/Garden Centre). The club will offer opportunities for experiential learning related to a number of aspects of the industry including vegetables, flowers, bee-keeping, soil types, and the stages of growth. Meetings will be held monthly throughout the summer. The club is open to youth age 9 to 21 years of age as of January 1, 2023.
For more information, please contact Cheryl Leifso, 519-378-8741 or email bleifso@icloud.com; also led by Anita vanVuuren.
Meeting 1 will be held Friday, April 28, 2023, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at 465 Concession 10, R.R. 2 Elmwood.

Let’s Get Growing Project
In a climate like Ontario’s, gardening varies drastically from summer to winter. This project has twelve units, three for each season – so you can garden all year long!
