Carleton 4-H Foodgrains project

4-H Foodgrains club is a field crop club where members will plan and manage growing a 10 acre plot of soybeans. Members assist to seek out donations for crop inputs and to cover expenses. Proceeds from the sale of the harvested crop are donated to Canadian Foodgrains Bank.
Learn to understand a soil test, check planting depth, monitor growth and development and scout the field.
Meetings are held at the Carp Fair parking field, or at the fairgrounds. First meeting is set for Wednesday May 14 @7 pm.

4-H Field Crops – Species & Management

This project provides a great intro to Ontario field crops (like corn, wheat, oats). By the end, you’ll be able to grow your very own crops and identify crop species with your eyes closed!
