Members will plant, grow, cut, arrange and dry flowers. They’ll learn about different types of
flowers, the importance of soil health, how to care for flowers in the garden, and more! Meetings
will involve garden planning, flower types, flower farm tour, zoom meetings with other flower
farmers around Ontario, planting at leader’s house and at your own home, arranging bouquets,
entering in the Caledonia fair, fall cleanup and drying flowers.
There will be 6 meetings that are 2 hours each, held at Christine’s house (912 Haldimand Road
17, Cayuga ON), with one meeting at Windecker Woods Flower Farm.
The first meeting will be in March for planning purposes. Meetings will be spread out over the
spring, summer and fall with the final meeting being before the Caledonia fair.
