Get ready to pickle your way to perfection with the Regional 4-H Pickle Camp! We’re bringing a unique pickling experience to members aged 14 years or older as of August 15, 2025.

Join us for an immersive weekend where you’ll learn everything about pickling, from selecting the best produce to judging the finished product. We’ll explore various pickling techniques, create delicious preserves, and even include some tasty treats along the way. Whether you’re a seasoned canner, or a curious beginner, this camp is for you!

  • Master Pickling: Learn how to select and prepare produce for pickling, understand different pickling processes, and develop your palate for judging the final products.
  • Hands-On Learning: Engage in practical activities that will have you pickling like a pro in no time.
  • Tasty Treats: Enjoy delicious samples as part of our club activities.
  • Connect & Learn: Meet other 4-H members who share an interest in the exciting world of pickles!

Important Dates & Location

This special intensive camp runs from Friday, August 15, 2025, around 3:00 PM, to Sunday, August 17, 2025, around 11:00 AM. (If you’re attending YAC, we can work with your schedule!)

Drop-off: Friday, August 15, 2025, around 3:00 PM (exact times will be firmed up closer to the event). Pick-up: Sunday, August 17, 2025, around 11:00 AM (exact times will be firmed up closer to the event).

Registration is open now and closes on Thursday, July 31st, at 5 PM! Don’t miss out!

Before you complete your registration form, please email a copy of your 4-H Ontario Participant Agreement Form to pickle4h@gmail.com. This form was sent to your email when you signed up for 4-H in 2025.
