Grey County 4-H Horse Club

Welcome to the Grey County 4-H Horse Club! We are heading into year 3 and are excited about what we will be learning. In the past, we have done quite a few guest speakers and learned a lot about professions in the equine industry. This year we will be focusing more on leadership through horsemanship and will be doing more hands-on work with the horses. We will be looking at equine behavior, herd dynamics, trust, connection and obstacles. We currently have 6 horses, 2 ponies, and 4 minis.

You do not have to own a horse to be part of this club. The achievement day will be done with the horses of Pura Vida Ranch, and we will begin working with them in June. This is a non-riding club, we work with the horses on the ground. We are looking forward to another great year and would love you to join us!
