Explore the art of lettering. Make posters and cards look professional! We will practice a wide variety of alphabets/scripts and principals of good design including: a historic calligraphic alphabet using pen and ink; modern playful scripts using gel pens and pencil crayons; layout and design; how to choose colour. Every meeting will include useful projects such as card making, gift tags and poster designs. Materials fee: $10. Articles to be exhibited at Caledonia Fair to complete the project.
