Hensall 4-H Club

The Hensall club usually offers 2 projects per year.  One in late winter/early spring and another in late summer/early fall. Past clubs include, sports sampler, hiking, barn quilts, breakfast Bonanza, rug hooking, gardening, photography, pizza, line dancing, trash to treasure, vegetarian, heritage, home for the holidays, Ont. fruits and vegetables. A locally developed club, Grow Huron, showcases the farms, agribusiness and related processing/retailing in Canada’s most productive agricultural county. This very popular club has now been offered 5 times with still more to discover in Huron County’s huge agricultural economy.

Information

Grow Huron 5 will once again visit various Huron County agriculture, forestry and business operations including a grain elevator, robotic dairy operation, floral greenhouse, equipment dealership, local food distribution centre, county forest and grocery store. Learn about international supply chains and current challenges, technology in agriculture, wholesale, retail and on-line marketing of Huron County products and how creating more diversity in our forests benefits all.
