Kawartha Lakes Haliburton Quilting Club 4-H Project

Welcome to the 2025 Quilting Club! Each member will be creating a log cabin quilt, as well as pillow cases to be donated to Women’s Resources. There will be 16 in club hours and 8 independent project hours for a total of two club completions. Achievement will be displaying your Quilt at 4-H Fair in August for club number 1, and pillow case donation for club number 2. Materials for your log cabin quilt are the responsibility of the member, pillow case materials will be supplied by the club.

Quilting Project

Experts say the art of quilting is over 5,000 years old. This time-honoured tradition still flourishes today and is one of the best ways to show skill, creativity and planning all at once.

Kawartha Lakes Haliburton 4-H Association

KLH (Kawartha Lakes Haliburton) offer agricultural based and life skill based projects. All clubs are open to all participants (Urban, rural and farm).
