Through the course of the spring/summer we will discuss and enhance our skills for feeding, clipping and showing a dairy calf project. Achievement day will require each member to show their calf at a local fair.

Dairy: it’s more than milk! This project will teach you the ins and outs of a successful dairy operation, covering the basics like animal care, plus the latest dairy farming tools and practices.

Lanark County has a variety of clubs ranging from Dairy, Beef and Sheep, to Cooking, baking and knitting. There is normally always a club for everyone. We run early Spring into Winter, we have an awards night each fall. and Most achievements happen at Local fairs throughout the fall.
