Peel Beekeeping Project

Peel 4-H is pleased to announce the “Beekeeping” Club.  In this club, the members will explore the world of beekeeping, learn about types of honey, craft some items with honey & its by-products visit working hives and visit the Honey Bee Research Centre at the University of Guelph.

Tuesday, August 26th, 2025 -(Note:  Alternate time & location – see below)

Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025

Time:  7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Location:  Downey’s Farm Market, 13682 Heart Lake Road, Caledon, ON. L7C 2J5

Note:  the meeting on August 26th will start at 6:00 p.m..  This meeting will take place at the Honey Bee Research Centre at the University of Guelph.  Each member will be responsible for their own transportation to and from Guelph.

Club Completion Requirements:  Members must attend 2/3 of the meetings and complete the assigned achievement to receive credit for the club.
