South Simcoe Automotive and Mechanics Club

In the South Simcoe Automotive and Mechanics Club, members will learn about automotive basics as well as gain automotive experience and knowledge by working on performance sports cars, including a 1968 L88 Race Car Corvette, 1968 Mustang Shelby GT 500, 1970 Challenger RT, 1972 Chevrolet C10 Truck, and a 1989 328 Ferrari. The theme for this year will be Magnum PI, in tribute to the famous Ferrari that Tom Selleck starred in the show with in the 80s.
Members are required to wear appropriate safety attire to meetings (e.g. closed-toe shoes, safety glasses, fitted clothes and long hair must be tied back). Achievement Day will be at the Beeton Fair where we will conduct a mechanical exercise.
Meetings will run from late April through early September, likely on Thursdays in the Alliston area. To complete the club, members must attend 2/3 of the meeting time as well as attend the Achievement Day. Membership will be capped at 20 participants.
