Stormont 4-H Beef Producers

With a strong focus on fun and interactive learning, we are going to offer members the opportunity to acquire hands on knowledge of beef cattle production and management.  Members will not only have the opportunity to learn everything from halter breaking, feeding, fitting, judging, showing and sportsmanship, but also what happens outside of show season on the beef farm. We will discuss topics from all aspects of beef production such as breeding, genetics, general and emergency health care, cow/calf operations, meat production, processing and packing. Topics will be adjusted on an age/experience basis to ensure adequate learning options for all individual levels. Project animals available on a first come/first serve basis where needed. Meetings will be in person.
