Wellington Soil Conservation Club

Are you interested in being a soil warrior?  Do you want to know what’s going on under your feet?  Come and join our new Loyal to the Soil 4H club and together we will learn:

  • Facts about soil and water conservation relating to agriculture in Wellington County.
  • Why soil is important? What is soil made of?
  • Types of soils and what we can do to make our soil better.
  • . . . and we are going to make new friends and have fun as we gather the ‘dirt’ on soil.

Loyal to the Soil Project

You’ll be getting your hands dirty in this project (literally) – and by the end we hope you’ll appreciate how valuable our soil is!
