The theme of this month's e-newsletter is deadlines and changes. In terms of changes, there is an update regarding the 4-H Ontario office relocation and exciting news about the official launch of the Cloverbud Program at 4-H Ontario's Conference & Annual Meeting. Important deadlines that are around the corner include Ignite Leadership registration, Ontario 4-H Foundation Golf Tournament registration and a couple of scholarships for 4-H'rs.

The official launch of the Cloverbud Program is happening next week at 4-H Ontario's Conference & Annual Meeting. The Cloverbud program is an opportunity for youth ages 6–8 to learn about all facets of 4-H Ontario projects. This exciting addition to 4-H Ontario is a hands-on, activity-based program that covers a wide variety of topics, including agriculture, food, crafts, lifeskills, environment and science. By participating in the Cloverbud program, participants are able to get a taste for the topics covered in 4-H projects while developing an understanding of 4-H values.

Cloverbuds provides “Learn To Do By Doing” activities and is delivered by 4-H volunteers. 4-H Ontario provides program material to volunteers who have decided to run Cloverbuds in their area. Like all 4-H programs, participation in Cloverbuds is optional for both youth and volunteers.
