Species & Management Project will provide you with general knowledge on crop management and introduce you to scientific, technological and environmental factors that can influence crop production.
In this project, you’ll learn:
- The basics of Ontario field crop species and production techniques
- How to identify plants and seeds of the commonly grown crops in Ontario
- How to market field crops
- Problem-solving, judging, communication and leaderships skills

Age Range:9-21 years of age as of December 31, 2021. Members will need to have paid their membership fee, complete all required forms, participate in a minimum of 2/3 hours of meeting time, participate in the County Judging Competition and participate in the club Achievement day program. You will need technology and internet connection. This club will meet once a month starting online and moving to in person once able to do this safely. No previous experience required. Members will need a notebook.
