Citizenship Congress will deepen your understanding of civic engagement, governance and public policy, parliamentary procedures, citizenship, and politics. This conference creates opportunities for you to network and learn from experts on governance and civic engagement while building your research skills, communication skills, and your knowledge on parliamentary procedure. Workshops and preparation sessions will culminate with the annual debate where you and your fellow 4-H’ers from across Canada will construct insightful arguments and practice your skills of persuasion and public speaking. You’ll leave Citizenship Congress having learned more about Canada, its government, and yourself.
Learn more and watch recordings of past debates at 4-h-canada.ca/citizenship-congress.
Upon being selected, a registration fee, along with further registration information, is to be paid to the Canadian 4-H Council.
