Join 4-H Ontario for the Zooming into Career Mania program. This experience will provide you with the skills you need to get a job and set a course for your career through learn to do by doing activities in skills that will help you to get a job and set the course for your career all while bringing you together with speakers, facilitators and friends. Sessions will include resume and cover letter creation, interview skills, introduction to different career and post-secondary school opportunities – all in a fun, experiential way. This opportunity will be open to youth between the ages of 13-17 and will offered the week of July 19-23rd. Registration will be $30+HST to access all of the activities, speakers and materials for Zooming into Career Mania.

Explore a wide array of career opportunities and learn the tools you need to get the job you want at Career Mania.
We know the thought of choosing your future career can be a daunting one! Career Mania will introduce you to careers you may not have considered before and show you what life as a post-secondary student is like.
- Learn about different careers and how to get started in them
- Get resume tips from experts
- Master the art of writing a cover letter that gets attention
- Hear professionals speak about different university and college programs
- Take part in interactive activities, and more
You’ll also get to go on tours of the beautiful University of Guelph and Conestoga College campuses and see what it’s like to live on campus and attend lectures.

An inspiring and challenging opportunity, the 4-H Canada Citizenship Congress will teach you about Canada, our government, and yourself.
Discover Canada through other 4-H Members’ eyes. Citizenship Congress 2020 will deepen your understanding of governance and public policy, improve your communication skills and expand your horizons.
Workshops culminate with the exciting annual debate, where members construct insightful arguments and defenses in a supportive and lively environment.

The USA National 4-H Conference is the premiere national civic engagement opportunity for 4-H members across the USA and beyond.
The USA National 4-H Conference is an exciting opportunity you’ll never forget. Canadian 4-H Members will meet first in Ottawa for one evening, where you’ll bond as a delegation.
Once in the US, you’ll attend educational conferences and get the opportunity to apply your newly developed and refined skills.
Delegates will choose an important societal topic, and in roundtable groups, prepare a briefing. The groups will then present their briefing to federal officials around the Washington, D.C. area.
In addition to conference activities, Canadian delegates will have a chance to tour Washington, visiting some of the nation’s most famous cultural and political sites, including the Lincoln Memorial and Capitol Hill.
