We’re going to Ireland!
This 4-H International Exchange is a fantastic opportunity for 4-H’ers to learn about agriculture in a new country while creating lifelong friendships and incredible memories. Visit Irish farms, travel around Dublin, participate in fun activities, learn about Irish history and immerse yourself in Irish agriculture!
Dates: May 13-20, 2026 (flights leave Toronto on the 13 and land in Dublin on the 14)
Application Deadline: August 25 at 11:59PM, 2025
Costs: The registration fee is $1750 CA (plus the cost of flights and any additional spending money for souvenirs, etc.). All flights are into Dublin airport (your provincial office will assist you with booking your flights and you will be invoiced for the flight costs).
NOTE: A non-refundable $500 deposit will be due upon participant selection. Remaining payment will be due in January, 2026.
The registration fee covers the following costs:
- Ground transportation for the week once delegates arrive at the Dublin airport
- Three meals a day
- Shared hotel accommodations
- All scheduled activities
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be currently enrolled in 4-H during the past 4-H year (2024-25) and are also registering as a 4-H participant for the 2025-26 year.
- Must be 17 to 21 years of age (as of January 1, 2026)
- NOTE: Participants who have previously travelled on 4-H awarded trips ARE still eligible for this travel and eligibility for future national and international 4-H travel will NOT be affected.

4-H Ontario has 5 spots available for this exciting exchange to Ireland. All successful applicants will be notified after September 15, 2025.

The Club to Club Exchange Program is a reciprocal youth exchange that matches 4-H clubs from different Canadian provinces for a shared, immersive experience. It offers a chance for young people to connect across regions, discover Canada’s diversity, and build a stronger sense of national identity — all while having fun and making lifelong friends.
- Exchange Duration: 5-10 days (not including travel)
- When: July – August 2026 (exact dates chosen by participating clubs)
- Ages 12-17 as of the travel date
- Deadline: August 18, 2025
