Farmers’ Markets Ontario (FMO) is the provincially recognized organization representing over 180 markets throughout Ontario. In 2019, 4-H Ontario began exploring ways to increase community involvement and connection, and we moved forward by partnering with FMO to give youth a unique opportunity to connect with their food, farmers and communities across the province. There are so many exciting and engaging ways to work with your local market this summer!

Resources:
In partnership with Farmers’ Markets Ontario, 4-H Ontario has developed a toolkit as a resource to connect local 4-H clubs and farmers’ markets. The toolkit provides resources for 4-H clubs, market managers, boards and municipalities on how to connect with a market, requirements for participation and ideas for your involvement in a market. It also includes fee subsidy programs and other valuable resources.

4-H Association Canva
Canva is an online program that allows people to create graphics and templates on the fly through a desktop or mobile phone. 4-H Ontario has a team account that associations can use to create 4-H branded promotional graphics and flyers to support their association.
How do I access Canva?
Please complete the form below to be granted access to 4-H Ontario’s Canva account. Upon two business days of the form submission, you will receive an email from Canva to join the 4-H Ontario team. From there you will be able to access 4-H branded templates that you can use for social media posts, posters or other promotions.

Promotional Materials Request Form
As of September 1, 2022, all requests for promotional materials are to be made through the following request form below. Here are a few things to note about the new request form and associated process:
- Promotional materials can only be requested through the form below.
- Promotional materials will only be shipped on a bimonthly basis on the 1st and the 15th of the month. If the 1st or the 15th of the month lands on a weekend, the promotional materials will be shipped on the next business day. Items requested between the 1st to the 14th of the month will be shipped on the 15th. Items requested between the 15th to 31st will be shipped on the 1st of the following month. Items are shipped via Purolator and will arrive 1-3 business days from the shipment date. Please plan accordingly to your event.
- We encourage 4-H Associations to plan ahead. If you are planning multiple events over a few month period, please request enough promotional materials for all the events. This helps to reduce shipping costs.
- Available promotional items will be updated in the form on a regular basis. Please note, some items may not be available at all times of the year.
- Sharing is caring. We have limited stock of promotional items and you may not receive the full number of items to ensure all 4-H associations have an opportunity to access items.
