Paisley Horse 4-H Club

Members will participate in horse related learning activities, both with and without their horses (no minis please).  In order to obtain a club completion, members must attend 2/3 of the total meeting time, complete the club project and participate in the achievement day. Participants will ‘Learn to Do by Doing’ with meetings that will focus on some lessons from the 4-H Horse Project Manual, riding clinics, guest presenters, some judging and members will experience a minimal amount of public speaking (i.e. roll call responses, project presentation etc.).

We will be starting the club earlier this year (end of March), having more frequent (2/month) meetings and finishing earlier (last meeting will be the end of June and the Achievement Day will be in July) in order to bypass the busy summer months.

Horse Project

Who’s ready to horse around? The Horse Project is the perfect intro to horses and covers a wide variety of horse related topics, including riding and healthcare.
