The Dairy club is focused on selecting a dairy calf to work with and show in September, as well as to build up judging skills and public speaking skills with oral reasons. We will learn about dairy cattle and different farms along the way. You do not have to live on a farm or have a previous relationship with a farm but you will be required to spend time outside of club meetings to work with your calf. The club leaders can make arrangements for you to have a calf to work with for the club.
The first meeting of the club will take place:
Date: Tuesday, May 13th, 2025
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Christie’s Farm, 180 Old School Road, Caledon, ON (north side between Heritage Road & Winston Churchill Blvd)
Club Leader: Robin A., Sandra C., Claire J. & Kelly O.
Tentative dates for the balance of the meetings at various locations are: June 11th, July 3rd, August 8th and September 13th
Members must attend a minimum of 2/3 of the meetings and complete an assigned achievement. All club members must be 2025 4-H Ontario registered members.
