The Peel 4-H Dairy Club is focused on selecting a calf to work with and show in September at the achievement. There is also an emphasis on improving your judging skills and public speaking by giving oral reasons. Members will learn about dairy cattle and visit different farms as part of the club. Members do not have to be from a farm or have a previous relationship with a farm; but will be required to spend time outside of meetings to work with your calf. If you do not have a calf, then the dairy club leaders can make arrangements for you to have a calf to work with for the purposes of the project.
