South Simcoe 4-H A Sporting Chance Line Dancing Club

This year we will be learning line dancing at all levels. Songs that were requested to be on the agenda for this year are Foot Loose and Fast as You. Everyone is welcome to join. We will be showcasing what we have learned at the Barrie Fair, Beeton Fair and Great Northern Exhibition. The Beeton Fair is our achievement Day , but if you are at University or College and can’t make it the Barrie Fair will be the alternative achievement day for you. Our meetings will be in barns, halls and outdoors. We hope to visit a few retirement homes and events in our county to share with our community elders. We ask that you wear comfortable footwear, jeans, plaid shirt and a country style hat when we are dancing at any of the events. Two water bottles and snacks are encouraged to bring for meetings. We want everyone to have fun when learning the dance moves and just to be active. This club has a great social atmosphere.

A Sporting Chance: Dance

Dancing is loved around the world for its unique mix of physical activity, art and culture. We’ll explore several different types in this project, so let’s get moving!
