Being on your own can be an empowering experience and learning how to enjoy it is an important part of growing up.

We’ll focus on everything from laundry, to cooking, to fixing a leaky faucet. You’ll get to explore ideas and practice skills that help you live on your own or contribute to a healthy household.

In this project, you’ll:

  • Learn how find a place to live
  • Develop skills in home maintenance and minor repairs
  • Learn how to make simple and healthy meals and snacks
  • Learn basic safety information and how to create an emergency kit
