GUELPH, ONT. (May 24, 2023) – The Ontario 4-H Foundation is once again hosting its online fundraising auction held in conjunction with the Foundation’s two annual golf tournaments in Guelph and Ottawa, Ontario. The format of an online auction means that bidding is open to everyone and not just golfers. Funds raised through these events will support the 4-H program in Ontario.
The online auction opened on May 22, 2023, and biddable items can be viewed here.
While delivery costs are the responsibility of the purchaser, significant efforts will be made to arrange low-cost or no-cost delivery through our amazing network of 4-H families and volunteers. After the auction closes, the Foundation will reach out to the successful bidders to arrange delivery or determine a pick-up location. Items can also be made available for pick up at Anderson Links Golf and Country Club on Thursday, June 8, 2023, for those attending the Ottawa tournament or who reside in the Ottawa area.
We also invite the community to join 4-H Ontario and the Ontario 4-H Foundation for a day of golf at the Guelph Tournament on May 25, 2023, or the Ottawa Tournament on June 8, 2023. Registration details can be found here.
Regular charitable donations to the Foundation, outside of the online auction, are also welcomed and can be made through the 4-H Ontario website under the Ontario 4-H Foundation.
The mandate of the Ontario 4-H Foundation is to raise, invest, and manage funds through endowments and donations for the long-term benefit and sustainability of 4-H in Ontario. Since 2008, the Foundation has supported local associations by investing funds on their behalf for the benefit of programs within their counties. At the end of last year, funds managed by the Foundation totalled nearly $3.2 million.
