Brant 4-H Dairy – Junior Club

DAIRY – Junior (Ages 9 -13* as of Jan. 1st)     – In-person

Topic: Nutrition: Members will learn all about nutrition for the entire herd.  Members will also learn showmanship skills and select a dairy calf to show at achievement day.

Meeting Dates: 1st Wednesdays April – August*; additional meeting date to be confirmed, plus Judging Night – June 25th

Note: * June and August will be the 2nd  Wednesday of the Month.

First Meeting Date: Wednesday, April 2nd @ Hilltop Farm – Vellenga’s 266 Govenor’s Rd. Paris

Achievement: Brant 4-H Dairy Achievement Show at the Paris Fair – Friday, August 29th

Brant does have a one time border hopper of $20.00 for the calendar year

Dairy Project

Dairy: it’s more than milk! This project will teach you the ins and outs of a successful dairy operation, covering the basics like animal care, plus the latest dairy farming tools and practices.

Brant 4-H Association

A youth organization serving the area of Brant including Brantford, Paris, Scotland, Burford and Langford.
