Peel 4-H Commercial Making Club

The Peel 4-H Association is proud to announce a new club starting in April —- COMMERCIAL MAKING.

Under the expert instruction of a master filmmaker, members will work in small crews to create a commercial.   They will engage in the production process, exploring cinematography, shooting their product/service, acting in it and then adding sound effects, special effects, music and titles, all culminating in a commercial to share with family and friends vis our online private theatre.

Dates:  Sunday, April 28th, 2024 — 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Sunday, May 5th, 2024 – 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Thursday, May 16th, 2024 – 6:30 pm. to 8:30 pm.

Location:  Mayfield United Church, 12496 Dixie Road, Caledon, ON. L7C 2L7

Extra Club Fees:   The regular fee for these workshops is $96.00 per person for a 10 hour workshop, inclusive of all supplies, equipment, material and in person instruction.     Thanks to the generousity of FCC (Farm Credit Canada) we have received a grant to subsidize these workshops.  With FCC Funding, the cost will be $55.00 to $65.00 per person, depending on the number of participants, inclusive of all supplies, equipment, material and in person construction.

This club will be limited to a minimum of 12 participants and a maximum of 16 participants.  Registration for this club will close on Friday, April 19th, 2024.   All spots are filled on a first come first serve basis by emailing brendabebbington@live.ca.

Club Completion — Attendance at both Sunday workshops is mandatory and members must complete the achievement as assigned.
