Norfolk Dairy Club

While preparing a calf for show is our main topic, we also going to focus on genetics and modern technology used in dairy farming.

Every member is responsible to find their own dairy calf to train for the shows. This is a club what takes a lot more time than the 2 hour monthly meeting. For the best results you need to practice at least ones a week over the summer.  We try to attend a few local 4-H shows and our achievement project is showing your calf at the Norfolk County Fair, Thanksgiving Monday October 9, 2023.

Dairy Project

Dairy: it’s more than milk! This project will teach you the ins and outs of a successful dairy operation, covering the basics like animal care, plus the latest dairy farming tools and practices.
