This year our focus will be on cookies and squares! We will start with some basic recipes and work into more complex creations and variations. Members will take turns sharing their favourite recipes and creations with the rest of the group. We will also strengthen our judging skills and learn tips from some seasoned bakers.
This will be a hybrid club, with most meetings taking place online. The club will meet on Saturday mornings from 10 – 12 pm* on Zoom with two – three tentative in-person meetings, likely in the Baxter and Barrie areas. Tentative dates are March 30th, April 13th and 27th, May 11th and 25th, and June 1st. For our achievement, you will be baking cookies to enter in the Beeton Fall Fair, held September 12th – 14th, 2024.
Please note: we will not be cooking full lunches in the club this year, but will certainly have a tasty treat for family and friends to sample!
