Weeds, insects and diseases – otherwise known as pests – want a piece of your crops. Because there are thousands of pests out there, this project will teach you practical detective skills to help you identify pests and create a plan to avoid and eliminate them.

In this project, you’ll learn how to:

  • Collect and identify common weeds, insects and diseases
  • Determine how many pests are safe and acceptable
  • Develop an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program
  • Use pesticides safety
