Advanced plowing techniques are an art and learning to plow well will take lots of time and practice. So let’s get started!

In the Plowing Project, you’ll discover the various types of equipment used in plowing and how each is operated. We’ll also explore why plowing is important and why it has to be done properly for maximum benefit.

In this project, you’ll learn:

  • The basics of soil, modern tillage and competitive plowing
  • The various reasons why we plow
  • How to properly manage soils to reduce loss and deterioration
  • How to operate a plow
