C-K 4-H Members at Rally Night

4-H is dedicated to the personal development of youth while providing a positive impact on volunteers and communities in Ontario and in Chatham-Kent. The Chatham-Kent 4-H Association is pleased to offer programs for two different age groups: Cloverbuds (ages 6 to 8) and the 4-H Program (ages 9 – 21).

Please note: Chatham-Kent has a $15 border hopper fee. Any out of county 4-H members can e-transfer this amount to chathamkent4h@gmail.com to participate in Chatham-Kent 4-H Clubs.

Clubs planning to run this year (list updated as information becomes available):
Cloverbuds, Archery Club, Bike Club, Canning Club, Dairy Club, Draft Horse Club, Dresden Beef Club, Eberts Lifeskills Club, Farm Toy Club, Flower Garden Club, Lego Club, Merlin Community Field Crop Club, Pizza Club, Plow Club, Poultry Club, Sheep Club, Trash to Treasure, Watching Wildlife and Woodworking Club.

Chatham-Kent 4-H Awards Directory 2024

HEAD – With our Heads held high, Chatham-Kent 4-H is proud of the community we call home. Though Chatham-Kent is a large municipality, spread out across numerous communities, we offer a wide variety of clubs throughout the municipality while offering the chance to meet new friends within our community!

HEART – Nestled in the heart of Southwestern Ontario, Chatham-Kent is a tight knit community. Our 4-H leaders and members have a desire to give back to our community through community outreach projects. Additionally, our volunteers are helping to build leaders and we cannot wait to see where they end up!

HANDS – Chatham-Kent, hands down, has the best volunteers around. With over 70 screened and trained volunteers, the Chatham-Kent 4-H Association is able to provide a wide variety of clubs for our members to participate in. With clubs from every letter of the alphabet, there is bound to be one for you! Archery, Biking, Canning, Dairy… you get the idea!

HEALTH – With many local trails, two lakes and many rivers at our fingertips, the Chatham-Kent 4-H Association has been able to offer clubs such as Walk on the Wildside and A Sporting Chance which promote being active out in your community and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
